Eyemouth Golf Club

First visit, mightily impressed, course is a good test of your game, its in good nick & I recommend the food in the clubhouse, hoping to be back before year end...to see if I can hit the 6th green this time !

Stayed the night in our motor home, parked round the back of the clubhouse. Very quiet at night. Staff were all really friendly. Nice and handy to walk to the harbour. Ate at The Heathers. Food was great and portions were big. Definitely recommend

Eyemouth is an outstanding cliff-side course with some lovely holes, of which the standout is probably the par 3 6th. It's only 131 yards from the yellows, but you have to go over the North Sea for 100 of them. There are a couple of climbs (11th and 15th), but mostly the course is fairly easy walking. The fairways are super wide, and the biggest defence to a good score are the undulating greens and the weather. I played here after a day of very heavy rain and the course remained very playable. I can't think of a single reason why you wouldn't want to play here.
