The Rowan Shepherd Hut is fitted out to an exceptionally high standard, with quality apparent at every touch point. The focus here is on customer satisfaction, it's glamping at its very best. The location is perfect for exploring the area, including the magnificent St Abbs Head National Nature Reserve.

An idyllic location with views to the sea, we loved staying at the Shepherds Hut. From the moment of booking, Richard could not have been more helpful and when we arrived the Hut didnt disappoint with everything you need for two. The beds were really comfortable, there was a TV, a fab log burner (which we used on the one day it rained all day) somewhere to eat and cook, an amazing shower, plenty of hot water and flat, well maintained space outside with chairs, table and a fire pit/BBQ. We spent a week there and cooked breakfast every day, did yoga outside and used the BBQ three times. The caravan site is small but with plenty of space to socially distance and plenty of sanitizer both in the Hut and around the bins. The New Inn was within walking distance, great pub food and a lovely atmosphere, there were a lot more restaurants and take aways and a Co-op supermarket in Eyemouth just a few minutes away by car. Great coastal walks with some amazing clean, sandy beaches close by and whilst not all castles and NT properties were open we had a fabulous week. Thank you Richard.
