We have traveled to Scotland from the U.S .three times and used Best Scottish Tours each time. Each wonderful experiences.

We had a fantastic time on our trip to Scotland. It was so easy. They really did a great job of putting everything together for us. We didn't have to worry about any detail. We loved every place we visited. The hotels/Inn's were all wonderful. The beds were also comfy (which is important). :) Our tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history. He was able to answer all of our questions as well. Great tour guide! The small group tour was one of the best parts of the trip. I can't imagine trying to tour on a big bus. The van was comfortable and spacious. We had time at each stop to really enjoy it. We never felt rushed. I will return to Scotland and use Best Scottish tours again! they are true professionals in every way.

Oct 3 - 7, 2022. The recent 5-day October tour was as magical as the rainbows on the Isle of Skye. The itinerary, lodgings, meals and schedule were just right -- excellent choices. Our driver, Chris, navigated the Isle of Skye and the Highlands, interacted easily with us (five women -- no easy task) and provided photo opportunities of coos, sheep, and rainbows on demand, it seemed. Chris kept to the schedule, yet allowed for personal preferences or needs. His discussions of Scottish history, of past and present cultural topics (e.g. reforestation projects, the significance of the Kelpies) provided opportunities to understand people and events, as well as to enjoy the castles and beauty of the scenery. Chris and Best Scottish Tours organized smooth, well-timed travels. An example: The Harry Potter train was in the station at Fort William where we photographed it, before catching sight of it as we traveled on the way to Mallaig. We arrived for lunch in Mallaig just prior to the train, before the passengers flooded the restaurants. Well done! And, did I mention rainbows?

Over the top PERFECT, including the weather. So many dimensions of history, beauty, comfort threaded together by a remarkably competent, informed, unflappable guide-driver, Duncan. Our van-clan of seven could not recommend this Best Scottish Tour and its patient staff more highly.

Best Scottish Tours was the best decision we made for our first trip to Scotland. Chris McD. our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely funny. He made every day a pleasure. Scottish history from Wallace to the Jacobites was overwhelming and informative. Her Royal Majesty passed away during our time in Scotland, in spite of the challenges with closures during the Royal funeral - Best Scottish Tours and Chris made every effort to evolve with the difficult atmosphere. Our accommodations and meals were all 5 star, far beyond what we expected. We cannot say enough good things about our time in the care of Best Scottish Tours. Thank you so much Chris & team!! We look forward to touring with you again!!
