        I chose this home for my Mum as I wanted the best for her. This certainly fits that description. The staff are friendly,polite and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are excellent. Can't praise enough.

        No time for staff to help residents. Poor management with lack of compassion to residents, particularly those who were still fully mentally aware. (2012 experience, could've improved since... If different leadership)

        Dad has been in Ashgrove since it opened - ten years plus. I have nothing but good things to say about his care in Ashgrove. He has been seriously ill on more than one occasion , and it is due to the excellent care he has received that he has pulled through each time. His room is always spotless as is Dad himself. I have the highest respect for all the staff. They have difficult jobs to do and they have looked after my Dad really well. It makes a pleasant change in present times when so many care homes get a bad press , to give praise to Ashgrove and all its staff.
