        Rented one of their defender 110s for a couple days in the Scottish Borders. Had a great time, car was presented nicely and well maintained, Josh went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Will be back!

        We owe the trip of a lifetime to Joshua. With tips on where to explore, get off the beaten track and avoid the summer crowds he suggested a destination to explore we may not have thought of ourselves. We found wild, remote highlands and islands in the middle of summer holidays, camped on white sands, swam in mountain pools & waterfalls and didn't see a motorway/A road for days. Joshua is a one-of-a-kind business owner. Patient, thoughtful, energised and always excited for adventures (yours as well as his own). He's always happy to oblige questions along your way. We felt immediately welcome at his place when picking up the Defender as he went off to get us a cuppa and chat through our trip plan. The vehicle was in perfect working order and we were supplied with the kit we needed. We recommend Wandering Icons without hesitation for an authentic, real, warm & hospitable Scottish adventure.
