15 minutes before closing for an hour lunch break, all but one server left the counters, with a queue of 7 people still to be served. Worst service of any post office Ive ever been to.

Terrible post office. Always incredibly busy with seemingly no reason, allow 30 minutes to queue. The staff are so unhelpful and rude, if you have another option to send something - use that instead.

Waited in a queue for post office to open at 1 15. It was nearer 1 20 when it opened. Then only one person on. Asked advice re sending a parcel. Was about to then address it as thought it might have been cheaper to send it in twp parcels only to be told no sellotape available. Truly unhelpful and disinterested service. Huge queue therefore had to abandon attempt. Nothing like the friendly and knowledgeable staff in the former post office in Queen Anne Street

A mismanaged shambles of a place. I waited 20 minutes in a queue behind 4 people. The staff member behind the counter took his time, slowly explaining the nuts and bolts of the postal service to every customer, the shadow of urgency not once casting over him. Another staff member seemed to aimlessly patrol the floor, watching the queue of customers grow while one of the stations behind the desk remained closed. A customer behind me only wanted to use the bureau de change but, for some inane reason, had to stand in the queue and wait behind customers sending packages. The staff member behind the bureau de change desk can deal with postal customers but is the only one who can exchange money. Surely it would make more sense to have a small, separate queue for bureau customers, who get priority, and if no one is there, the person behind that desk can deal with postal customers? This would save people, like the customer behind me, from waiting nearly 30 mins to buy some euros. This is just one of many poor experiences in this post office. On a previous occasion I was returning a package and went to the self service station. It would not read the QR code on my package. Some time after asking for help, I walked to the main desk where I was told, with laughter, that the self service machines don't read QR codes. A huge number of returns are dealt with in QR codes. There is nothing indicating that QR codes can't be read at the self service machines. This is 100% an issue that others have dealt with which could be solved by simply putting up a sign. I urge the management at this Post Office to have a think about the efficiency of the staff and the operational efficiency of the branch. At the moment, this is far below the standard expected of the Post Office.
