        In the main I really like Puddledub having bought from them for years. However today I asked for featherblade and was palmed off with something else. I asked if it could be trimmed and cut into large bits. Of course i will. Only no trimming. The result after long slow cooking is large amounts of fat and gristle.

        Visited with my childminding children today - the butcher was so friendly and cheerful, talking to the children - and then helped them pick some sausages! The sausages went down a treat at lunch - they scoffed the lot! Excellent service!!

        In here today and got rump steak for dinner, it was absolutely amazing, the best I've ever had. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back for more. Delicious . Butcher was very nice and helpful too, didn't rush us and gave us time to decide what we wanted. Well done guys, you have a great butcher's.

        Genuinely the best butcher in Scotland. I go out of my way to get meat from these lads. (Im an Angus man) Second to none. Try it, they wont disappoint.
