Avoid at all costs. Ian himself is a very poor driver. Only today Ian was caught going a maximum of 45 MPH along the 60 MPH A701 with a queue of over 14 cars stuck behind him (I have video evidence from my dashcam if anyone wishes to see it). There was no obvious reason why Ian was going this slowly, the road was dry, straight and wide, and Ian was alone in the car, without a pupil. Even if there was a particular reason Ian chose not to go anywhere near the actual 60 MPH speed limit, (which is a failable offence in the driving test), there is absolutly no excuse for Ian refusing to pull over to let the tailback of cars he was holding up behind him past, instead he just kept trundling along at 45 MPH, without any consideration for other road users, forcing them to attempt risky overtakes. Funnily enough there is also a video of Ian's car on YouTube cutting up a cyclist at a roundabout. Here it may have been a pupil driving, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ian himself after witnessing his poor driving today. Sorry Ian, but I think it's time you stopped driving and found a new career.
