I was told I had to make an appointment to discuss my repeat prescriptions, so I asked the person who called me if we could do that then and there, I was told no. No real reason why. Its taken me 97 (almost a shame it wasn't 100) calls , to get placed I to a queue I which I was on hold for about 10 minutes. I was then told it was too late to make an appointment and to call bsck again tomorrow. I was then told I could make an appointment for next month which I did. Since I'm sure no-one reads the Google reviews, I'd have rather sent an email to the practice manager, but this is also I formation which I was told I wasn't allowed to have. I've never, ever, had this problem before at any gp I've ever been registered at and can't quite velieve the NHS allows such a practice to remain open. Of you're moving to dunfermline soon sign up anywhere else. Seriously. Edit: I'm now on life-saving medication for life and despite telling a doctor on the phone and on an email when I informed them of this they didn't send it to the pharmacy to be collected. Not really sure where else I can go to report this surgery but I'll do my best because no-one should be subjected to this.

The receptionist! Is rude, disrespectful and dismissive! My mum called on behalf of my stepdad as advised off of the specialist neurology nurse through in Glasgow, she was refused an appointment with a doctor or to even speak to a nurse in regards to the situation regarding extremely high blood pressure the neurologist was concerned about him being high risk for a stroke, the receptionist must be trained in all things medical that they feel that they can make the decisions whether patients can actually be seen or speak to a doctor/nurse how inhumane can you be to refuse people who are in genuine potentially life threatening circumstances! I fully understand and appreciate the pressure that our nhs are under but in no way shape or form is it acceptable how the receptionist take it upon themselves to play god!!!
