An excellent service. Neil arrived on time and quickly set up his equipment. He completed the job in time despite our awkward staircase. The carpets even dried in the time he said it would take! The carpets were pretty bad because of the bad winter but they have come up like new. Moreover the price represented good value for money. We have Neil's card and will be using him in the future. I would recommend Valet Plus.

We asked Mr Grogan to clean the carpets in our new house while it was empty and prior to us moving in. We were disappointed with finished result. We left Mr Grogan to work while we went elsewhere and when we returned to the house he had finished his work and left but we were greeted with a strong smell which resembled bad drains. Luckily we were staying friends as the house was unliveable in. It took two days to air out the house to get rid of the smell. Mr Grogan must have noticed the smell when he completed the work but it was left to us to complain to him. He said that there was sometimes a smell depending on the amount of wool in a carpet but we have had other carpets with a wool content cleaned and never encountered a smell like this. For a supposed expert who charges over 3 a square metre as opposed to other local carpet cleaning services who charge 2.50 a square metre we were disappointed and will not be employing Mr Grogans services again.
