        Despite the stress of trying to use the online site, when I visited the East Port branch I was very pleased with the staff. Welcoming, helpful, cheerful and efficient. If the branch was closer I'd rather visit than do anything online. We'll done East Port Dunfermline branch.

        What banking breath of fresh air! A friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, live person actually answered the telephone. This has not been my experience at Barclay's or TSB. I have an account at Barclay's and have not had access to my money for 6 months. Barclay's never answers the phone and doesn't even respond to messages--not even empassioned pleas for help. I'm quite sure that Boris will bail Barclay's inefficiency out with millions of taxpayer money so as long as the Chairman is a fellow Old Etonian. Barclays is actually paying for PR ads on the TV right now feigning compassion and customer care. Why don't they just try answering the phone. If they actually had any, they wouldn't require such lies from their "Ministry of Truth." When I sought assistance at TSB, myself and several customers literally had the door slammed in our faces. I'M SWITCHING TO NATIONWIDE ASAP.
