Muffin Break

With several visits to Muffin Break since they opened, I have noticed a significant decline in produce selection, standards and customer service. On my last trip the scones were as flat as pancakes, the muffins had spilled across the whole tray and the coffee was like flavoured milk. Well not be going there again when BBs is just outside and serve far better muffins. For coffee well stick to Cafe Nero instead; you can actually taste it. A shame - Muffin Break had such potential but its now probably the worst place in Dunfermline.

Absolute shambles of a place. Had to clear and clean my own table on arrival. Only 4 people in at the time and all the other tables were covered in rubbish. Staff are really slow and very incompetent. Staff stand around as if there is nothing to be done. Toilets dirty and prices are ridiculous. Will definitely not be back!!!!!!

Very rude waitress. There were no clean tables to sit at and half the available area (which had been cleared) was sealed off. We were told to either wait until a table was cleared or sit at one which wasn't.

Atmosphere was fine, but food was not good. Everything was very over baked. Panini was burnt but the cheese was still not melted, cookie over baked and rock hard. Everything elses was just under seasoned and plain. Overall the food is very overpriced for the poor taste and quality
