Wee Vegan Bakery

I love this wee place. It's very close to the loch so sometimes when I go for a walk with my twins I stop there to grab a coffee and a cake. I always choose a different cake and it's always amazing. Some days ago I had a chocolate cake and oh my God, delicious!! I really like that they have a tiny corner with toys for the kids.

Visited the Wee Vegan Cafe this afternoon and was not a great experience unfortunately. My partner and I ordered some lunch, cake and coffees to go. Once we left we tried the coffee - it was really bitter. However, the chai latte was lovely and my partner enjoyed the mac & cheese. Unfortunately by the time we got home and tried the cake it was really awful. It didnt taste anything like chocolate and had a very strong and lingering taste of baking powder. We couldnt eat it. I was quite surprised because Ive had their coffee & walnut cake before and there was no issues with it. Id still suggest giving it a try as its important to support local. Hopefully our experience was just a fluke because the other reviews seem very positive.

I ordered a vegan cake (raw iced) from the Wee Vegan Bakery, for a family birthday gathering. One of the owner-bakers, Rebecca, was kind enough to move the date the order was required to accommodate a date change. She also kindly pointed out that the cake would be made the day before I uplifted it, not the day of uplift. Well, what can I say, but the cake was a Massive Hit with every single person at the birthday party (not everyone was vegan) - it really was delicious and enjoyed by every single person! This is the second time ordering the same cake for me & I will definitely be ordering again!

Friendly welcome, just off the cycle path. Highly recommend the haggis sausage roll and coffee cake!
