Pros
- Covid protocols being appropriately followed
- Good diagnosis and therapeutic suggestions (if you can remember them)
Cons
- My first appointment lasted 45 mins. I was on time but it began late and ended early.
- I was admonished (actually admonished) for bringing up more than one physical issue. I got the sense I was being hustled out as quick as possible during the much vaunted first appointment where a full medical history is apparently taken.
- All advice given in rushed and hurried manner while performing therapy. No notes or written up instructions. Or follow up instructions up via email which Ive had from other private practices.
- No reminder about the second appointment- no text or call- and then two calls on the day of the appointment reminding me to pay the no show fee. One time at 11.10 (for the 11 am appointment I missed) and one at 8 pm telling me to use my common sense and pay.
- After I missed my appointment, the owner wasnt even interested in knowing if I would like to book another appointment, he was just frantically on about the no show fee.
- Its left me wondering if this is more of a predatory business than a health clinic. Basically I paid 95 for 45 mins of face time.
- Since the owner seems quick to respond to reviews perhaps he can be so kind as to send me receipt for both payments made.
PS: heres a list of businesses and practices that send you reminders for appointments: physiotherapists, private health practitioners, hair dressers, even an appointment with an NHS specialist is confirmed with a letter posted to your address. So no matter how seriously you take yourself, setting up automatic reminders for your patients or clients is pretty standard customer service. Especially if youre happy to invest time repeatedly calling clients after theyve missed appointments.
