Donald organised a superb repair of my Leak speakers, and NAD amplifier. Great work at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

I contact Sound Aid to see if they could restore my old Pioneer A400 amp back to health. 2 other companies had attempted a repair but I wasn't happy with the results. I had almost resorted to plonking it on ebay for spares when I came across Sound Aid. They had it for a few days, called me and said its ready to pick up. The result is fantastic. I've had this amp for almost 30 years and it sounds as good as it ever did. I think it sounds better than my new Naim Nova. To say I'm chuffed to bits is an understatement. I've already passed their details to a few mates. If you need something fixed then use these guys, I'm sure you'll be happy.

I can completely recommend Donald and the team at Sound Aid. I had recently returned to Scotland from Sydney, and I had had some Tannoy speakers and a Audio-Technica record player that needed looked at. Within 7-10 days, they were returned to me, looking and sounding as good as new. All done with a friendly disposition, it was a 10/10 experience for me.

Donald is an incredibly knowledgable and communicative person. From the beginning, he made it clear that his engineer would do an initial look through of our Rank Arena RA2100 (that is over 50 years old) and give us a quote for the repairs. The fee for the initial diagnostics was even deductible from the total repair fee if we decided to go aheadwhich we did. The initial quote was very reasonable, however, the repair turned out to be far more extensive than his engineer had expected. Donald was honest with us and didn't even charge us for the full cost of the repair. I would not hesitate to bring any of my vintage hi-fi equipment back to him for repair or refurbishment. I am the second person I know who has had great results from Sound Aid. Honestly, I don't think there is even another business which takes on this kind of work in Scotland!
