Marked as an urgent referral by my GP and health visitor. Took 6 weeks to get an appointment. Arrive 10 minutes late due to receptionist giving wrong directions so they refused to see me. Now to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment.

Receptionist and doctors are always nice and show they care, shame about the staff shortage and long waiting times but got through it in the end.

The level of treatment is a long term result of ingrained attitudes to mental health in Tayside.. not exactly individual staffs fault but they are somewhat burnt out and the care lacks depth and up to date knowledge. I felt like I was on a conveyor belt...

Absolutely useless. I don't know what they do but they don't help young people who are needing help

Outrageous. I was told after 7 months of waiting that they "can't help" me because they are unreliable, unavailable and they're waiting times are horrific (and this what THEY admitted to). Even when you CAN get an appointment it's absolutely useless and a deterrent for seeking mental health support all round.
