Good hall with nice rooms and facilities and parking. Ideal location for uni.

I can not recommend Peterson Hall - CRM Students enough. There is not one thing I can fault about my experience here. Peterson Hall is about a 4/5 minute walk from the University of Dundee which is ideal. It is also within walking distance (about 8 minutes) to a big Tesco for groceries and within walking distance to other necessities - shopping centre, restaurants, post office, shops as it is close to the city centre. It is a really safe place and I always felt a sense of security while living here which was important to me as I am an international student coming from Dublin, Ireland. Security was high on my priority list as I wanted to feel safe where I was living. It is gated, meaning only people who live in the accommodation can access the grounds with their fobs to open the gate. The grounds are kept really tidy and there were more than enough bins to accommodate for each apartment so they were never overflowing/ untidy. The apartments themselves were great. I shared a two-bed apartment. My bedroom was much bigger than I expected it to be, bigger than my bedroom at home. The bedrooms had lots of storage space - wall shelves, a spacious desk with 3 big storage drawers, a double wardrobe with drawers underneath, a bedside locker with 3 drawers and there was even storage space under the generously sized bedframe. The kitchen was absolutely perfect, fitted with a modern oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, washer/dryer, a big fridge/freezer and a dining table and chairs. This was really appealing to me as you don't have to spend extra money to furnish the apartment. It has everything you need! The bathroom was perfect, fitted with a nice modern shower, toilet and sink. For me, it was how modern, efficient and spacious the accommodation was that made my experience really great. If you are going to live away from home I think it is important to feel safe and comfortable during your time away (it is more important than you think!) while also actually liking where you are now living, and that is exactly how I felt while living at Peterson Hall. After doing some research on student accommodation in Dundee, Peterson Hall was the most attractive to me for it's price, location, security and of course the apartments themselves. A good review of Peterson Hall would be inadequate without giving a special mention to Ian, the site manager at Peterson Hall. A very very friendly and extremely helpful man who greatly added to the sense of community within Peterson Hall, who really helped my move overseas to be seamless. None of my questions/ requests were too much of an ask for Ian. He really is a valuable asset to Peterson Hall. I was sad to be leaving Peterson Hall but also very grateful that I loved my experience living here. I would definitely recommend Peterson Hall to anyone who is moving to Dundee!!
