        The owner is the most rude, unhelpful arrogant man, particulary with women it seems.... I'm surprised he has has any customers left. He really shouldn't be dealing with the public with his attitude.

        The Thornton's shop in central Dundee closed and I am so glad that I can still buy their wonderful chocolates here.

        Agree with previous comments about person behind counter. Really unwelcoming, and I won't visit this shop again. I suspect I'm not the only one. Complete contrast to other shops in Broughty Ferry who have friendly staff. Really hope that things change as the shop itself is a good addition to the Ferry.

        Tried to purchase from this store using contactless to minimise risk of infection during the COVID-19 pandemic and the owner refused stating it had to be over 5.00! In a store (newsagent / confectionary) where the majority of goods are below this threshold and during a worldwide crisis where everyone is trying to minimise one to one contact, they are more concerned with their banking charges than health!
