Dance Discovery Dunbar

My daughters joined Dance Discovery four years ago and it's become a huge part of their lives. Right from the start Miss Clare and Miss Holly and then Miss Delphi have been encouraging, caring and inspiring with all the lessons. Dance Discovery has a wonderful ethos of nurturing the individual child and I can see this right through the ages as my youngest has now started the exciting Mini & Me class. The teachers focus and kindness really showed in lockdown, my daughters didnt have to miss one class as online lessons were set up immediately. The contact with the class was amazing and became the focus of their week. Performing around Dunbar and at the Brunton Theatre provides great opportunities and the teachers are so kind and friendly that it feels fun and not daunting. The big dance studio has a sprung floor and separate changing area, Miss Clare encourages the students to feel like its their space and my teenager has opportunities to help out with the younger classes and enjoys it as a place to spend time. My daughters choose to take on more classes and challenge themselves further. The focus is on skill building, creativity and encouraging not pushing the students which gives them confidence and enthusiasm. I recommend Dance Discovery and my daughter says 'It's the best! 10 out of 10!'

My daughter loves attending tap and ballet class. The teachers are really encouraging and her confidence has really come on since starting, she has even built up to performing in one of the shows. Thank you Dance Discovery for the great class.

My daughter has been dancing for a few years now! Her confidence has grown massively by taking part in shows! And she keep asking to go every week! The teachers are absolutely amazing! She also had her 4th birthday party there which I can 100% recommend!!

Clare and the team are great, my 2 girls look forward to their dancing class all week and enjoy sharing with us what they are learning. They have regular shows as well during the year. I would recommend those classes.

My daughter has been enjoying ballet and tap lessons for a year now. She loves her teachers and all the fun of learning dances and performing. Its been so nice seeing her gain confidence and new skills
