A "great" time. Came for the sandy beach but stared into the abyss of time. the world's greatest geologist, Hutton, walked this beach. Know that the sandstone rock forming beneath your feet layer upon tiny layer is also eroding with each tide against the cliff. The moon pulls against the earth's seas as we spin around the sun. Our lifespans hardly meriting a single frame in these geologic processes. Entire eras and epochs have passed and will pass yet. "Until all the seas go dry, my dear and the rocks melt with the sun" (Burns) "No vestige of a beginning no prospect of an end..." (Hutton)
