Beautiful accommodation with the best welcome gifts! A really space place to stay with friends or family. We stayed for my 40th birthday and it was perfect. There's even a yoga studio and snug TV room foe the kids. Really cosy with amazing attention to detail. Highly recommend

What a perfect holiday in a glorious setting! We booked Papple Steading for a special family birthday celebration in July and the week flew past too quickly. My husband and I stayed in one of the one bedroom units and were greeted with lots of locally sourced treats as well as a bunch of flowers picked from the grounds. The accommodation was well equipped, with sustainable products in mind, and also spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather and ate our meals outside every evening and spent the days exploring the local area. The grounds of Papple Steading give you a lot of room to explore and watch wildlife, from the brown hares running along the field margins to the bats feeding in the twilight up beside the firepit. The buildings themselves have been thoughtfully restored, and we hope to re-visit to stay again and see how this heritage project develops.

We stayed in one of the one bedroom units (Shepherd's Bothy) for five nights. We were most impressed with the accommodation (the beds were really comfortable) and the peaceful surroundings. The Bothy was really well equipped and beautifully decorated. The manager was very helpful and welcoming - thank you! And we really enjoyed our time there.
