We have recently joined Food Train and we have found them both most helpful and efficient in every way, ' Cannot speak highly enough of these good people . So much so, that I have recommended them to a number of people I know here in Dumfries.

If you're someone with autism and intellectual disability food train are not interested in you volunteering with them. When social work talk to them they say they'd love to have you back which gets your hopes up then they say they don't want you back cause other volunteers don't want to be associated with you cause of a mistake you did and block your return. Which is not very nice if you're someone who volunteered with them for 15yrs who didn't do anything wrong in time with them. Cause of a conviction their not interested which goes against the equality act 2010. So if you have autism and intellectual disability don't volunteer for food train. Me and my social worker are bitterly disappointed in food train volunteers and staff. I'm currently considering what action to take against food train regards to equality act 2010. Spent criminal convictions Applicants do not have to tell you about criminal convictions that are spent. You must treat the applicant as if the conviction has not happened, and cannot refuse to employ the person because of their conviction.
