It wont be wrong to say that Daksh Indian Restaurant is the place if youre looking for authentic Indian food restaurant in 55 Queen St, Dumfries. I visited with my family and it felt like we were traveled back to India while having our dinner together.

This restaurant has a unique atmosphere, with interesting decor and lively music. The mixed platter for poppadoms was a great starter, with the spicy onion dip being a standout. My Biryani was expertly presented and absolutely delicious, with juicy meat and a flavorful sauce. Although it was a bit expensive, the quality of the food and the entertaining atmosphere make it well worth it.

I recently enjoyed couple of Indian meals at this restaurant - the blend of spices was truly amazing. At this restaurant, you can expect authentic, delicious food served by friendly, helpful staff in a clean and tidy environment. I tried few Indian dishes and the curry dishes were really outstanding, their tandoori chicken was also delicious. Overall, an excellent dining experience.
