I loved my visit to the Lantern. The Lyver was my go to bar in Dumfries in the 90s. I went for the crowd, not the health and safety! Anyway, everything has been retained in the reopening. The pictures on the walls, the friendly folk but with a lovely clean toilet that doesnt have mushrooms growing from odd places. Bravo to whoever saw it was worth keeping.
