The 500 steps on the site are so worth it! The staff were very helpful and informative, the coffee cheap, nice and portable, the toilets clean and accessible, whats not to like? Bring some warm clothes, and spare a thought for the guards that used to be on duty there 24/7, all year round!
It was however a bit hard to find the entrance, as there wasnt much signage out on nearby streets, and no designated carpark and no disabled parking at all, not all disabled people have mobility issues! We found somewhere to park nearby on the road after driving around for a bit, it was on a Sunday though.
