        We didn't stay in Kip in the Kirk but in a sister lodging nearby, both run by Frances. Can't say enough good about the room, the amenities, her cheerful and energetic presence and help. We enjoyed tea soon after arrival and a nice light breakfast. Tea was especially fun as we engaged with other guests, mostly trekkers. The town is nice and Hillview is adjacent to the oldest licensed pub in Scotland (!) where we enjoyed a few brews. A most enjoyable stay for our last night in Scotland!

        Food & drinks: We got scones and tea from the hostess when we arrived. Breakfast was nice and full of fresh products. Noteworthy details: Kind hospitality, wonderfull details about the West Highland Way and one of us could barrow a real Scottish kilt!!
