        I do love seeing history dotted about the place but this isn't one you need to go out of your way to see. Just look at the photos and enjoy a little bit of history about it. Thisfolly is said to have been built from the stones of Dingwall Castle, on the site of the castle and is one of the few surviving relics of Dingwall Castle. The castle is believed to have been established by Norse settlers in the area in the 11th century.
