We had a short break at the Waverley Inn in Dingwall, it had exactly what you need if you are just looking for a room for a base during your stay. I had a twin room for myself and my son with bathroom facilities, tea making, clothes storage and Television. All recently freshly decorated throughout so a clean and pleasant appearance is obtained. The lady at the front desk was very helpful but did seem very busy and at times there is no one at the desk for queries, there is a bell and a phone number to contact someone but be mindful the desk is not attended to at all times.Breakfast is a help yourself continental style offering which is sufficient before the days adventures. Overall it does what it says on the tin. I would like to commend the housekeeper as she was on the go constantly and deserves a medal!

Not the most salubrious place I've been to. Gaffer tape on the stairs to stick the carpet down plus paint all over. Room was basic. No wardrobe! Bed sagging in the middle. Couldn't get a station on the TV. Not happy with my company for putting me up in there! Walkability: Close to amenities

  • I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the strong odor coming from the newly renovated rooms at your hotel. Unfortunately, the smell is very unpleasant and has made my stay quite uncomfortable. I would like to request that you take immediate action to address this issue as it has negatively impacted my experience at your establishment. I understand that renovation work is necessary from time to time, but it should not be at the expense of guests' comfort and well-being. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I was staying here for work. The place was reasonably clean. Beds and pillows not great. The hallways were stinking of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was fine for grab and go, nothing fancy. I avoided a hot drink as the residents were taking the kettle back to their rooms to fill up. The view from my room was terrible and a little terrifying. Another guest said they found a mouldy takeaway in their cupboard. As you can guess, I wouldnt stay again.

Spacious room. Had parking available for hotel guests. Used it for a night pit stop during our Scotland road trip. Very basic set-up; but high value for money; as the nightly rates are super low. Decent locations; with a few restaurants nearby. Very basic breakfast, but then with the low Room Rate, was not expecting much. No toiletries provided (hand wash, shampoo, etc.), was told by reception that they don't provide it. Internet did not work. Overall, Decent stay. Good for an overnight pit stop.
