John came out to measure up and identified 7 panels needed replaced and a hinge (the wrong hinge was ordered and this was never replaced).
He arrived on the day agreed and done the work.
Unfortunately, due to poor communications, not all windows to be replaced were identified so arrangements were made for further work.
A couple of weeks later 2 of the new units were found to be completely covered in condensation inside. The remainder of the new glass in the same bay window were fine. It was so bad we could barely see through the glass and needed a sponge to dry it. Both were soaked with condensation on the inside from top to bottom and left to right.
I made John aware and got a fairly vague and unsatisfactory explanation but he assured me they were ok. The flat is currently unoccupied so most of his explanations werent relevant. We agreed to wait and see with these windows and arranged for the further panels to be ordered.
Received a call from John and arranged a date the following Monday for the remaining work. On SUNDAY night John called and had decided he wasnt doing the additional windows because he didnt like my reaction when we discussed the condensate on the new windows he had previously fitted.
That was it, he just didnt like my response to our conversation (the conversation where we agreed to wait and see how the windows performed when tenants move in)
We now have to find a new installer, get a quote, await delivery of new glass.
Not the best communication, not the best service, appears not the best quality of installation or product (not sure which) and clearly customers are left to the whim of whether the installer likes you enough to bother finishing the job.
Im sure theyll have some happy customers but worth considering this review before agreeing to spend money with them.
Probably best to look elsewhere, we now have to !!
