        My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Screen Mill. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and Donald, the host, could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was lovely for the two of us but it would have been just as fine with another guest. The room under the stairs makes an excellent drying room which would be very useful during the wetter months of the year. We will definitely come back here as it was such a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Thank you Donald

        Screel Mill is in one of the best locations I've stayed in, at the foot of Screel Hill in the beautiful Galloway countryside. The views are amazing, but it's only 5 or 10 minutes from Castle Douglas which has a wide range of boutique shops and supermarkets. The cottage itself is really comfortable, with everything you'd need, and was spotlessly clean. It's perfect for couples or a small family.
