Beautiful and tranquil setting, birds, red squirrels, bunnies and a fox spotted in the garden. Rooms have sweet themes to them which was lovely and the house is at up in a conveniently easy eco friendly way, so well thought out. Really feels like you're more at peace with nature here. Also perfectly located for getting out and about and enjoying the surrounding area. Recommend in-house chocolates in the town as well as the bakery not far away - delicious sausage rolls. Mossyard beach was also a lovely spot not far away and the aviation museum in Dunfries.
