You'll need to walk through the woods to reach The Temple. It's a quite impressive structure, but now totally overwhelmed by woodland. At one time this would have been a striking feature of a designed landscape. It's the sort of thing you'd never get planning permission for these days. It's a pity the parkland landscape wasn't preserved (since the main house, Cally Palace, is still there), but there has been a lot of changes, not least the A75 nearby. Nearest road access will be from the road that runs from the A75 to Girthon. A few hundred yards down there the #7 cycle route is signposted on the right. Follow that into the woods and look out for a path branching to the right that will take you to The Temple.

Regardless what google maps says, you cannot access by vehicle. Google maps takes you up a rough track to a house. You would need to walk from here but there is nowhere to park on the single lane track.
