Amazing yurt, if youre thinking of booking then go for it! The yurt itself is an authentic study Mongolian yurt, its big, warm and very cosy, with hand painted wooden slats. The interiors are luxury, the bed and bedding are very comfortable, and all the details from the fairy lights to the crockery and glasses are beautiful too. Its set on a working farm where you can see the animals and explore the area. Hosts Ciara and Dan are so friendly and hospitable, and made our stay even more lovely. Thank you!

Omg! I cannot recommend this place anymore! The mrs, kids and I travelled up from birmingham (England) for her work and stayed here for 2 nights. OMG! Twas amazing! Ciara and Dan are like family to us now, they are so so so so lovely and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. The yurt is just bliss what a way to live! The night sky is tremendous! The animals I miss Rum (if you know you know lol) book right NOW you will not be disappointed! We will certainly be returning a few times a year I reckon!

Having spent many years camping we decided to try a bit of luxury this year at the Kites Rest yurt on Castle Creavie Farm. We were not disappointed, this place is amazing. Dan , Ciara & their son Odin were the perfect hosts, always making time for a chat & advice on things to do & see , with Odin keeping the dog on side with treats. The yurt & its location is perfect. Everything you need is provided : theres loads of space, a really comfy bed & the wood burner! The surrounding view is stunning whether its with the locally distilled gin on the decking in the afternoon or from the bed with a cup of tea in the morning. A wonderfully relaxed stay that we look forward to repeating. So glad we found this place .
