What can one say about such a splendid local landmark ??? One thinks that an endeavor to the plough is not without benefit to the gallant adventurer who chooses to walk the path of the plough. 10/10 would recomend!!!!

A Plough that made me go wow. certainly worth the visit! After my dearest brother Charles passed away after falling out a window, I decided life was too short. I packed my things and hit the road with my 1 man tent and i've ended up in the quaint village of West Kilbride. I entered the idyllic town centre and asked a few locals what areas were worth visiting, and a lovely man called Matt mentioned several areas of interest such as largs and fairlie however upon visiting, I realised just how much they have suffered from the introduction of chain stores and the loss of scottish identity. His final suggestion was local to the village, and my visit to the plough was certainly not dissapointing in the slightest. This wrought iron masterpiece placed gracefully on a traffic island really opened my eyes to the agricultural beauty of West Kilbride and really gave me a glimpse into the heart and soul of a place like this. Its simple, yet elegant stucture speaks volumes for the town, and is an asset to Scotland as a whole.
