A shame the Google review process is being hijacked by the anti-nuclear agenda. This is a forum to review the attraction, and not to post one-star reviews because you have an anti-nuclear viewpoint... So to keep on-topic: The visitor centre is excellent, well run and the staff are very friendly and have good technical knowledge. There are few locations in the UK that offer such a unique tour since 9/11 and both adults and children will find it fascinating to look inside an operational nuclear power plant. Whilst I was here, a local school was visiting too - the kids were so engrossed the teacher couldn't get them to go to lunch! A place to explore, in a most beautiful location - some great walks and scenery in the local area too. It's not a physics lesson or a lecture, and it is pitched just right to enable anyone to enjoy it. Leave your preconceptions at home and enjoy a quite unique experience.

Had an awesome tour here 4 years ago. Really shows the amount of redundancy in the safety systems which makes this a very safe and clean source of energy. The tour takes a long time to organise due to security constraints but I thoroughly recommend it.
