I cant thank Joe enough for taking on our dog . We had tried a number of approaches to dealing with the difficult behaviours our dog was exhibiting but things were still escalating and it was taking the pleasure out of spending time with him and hugely stressful. After 3 weeks of board and train we have a dog who listens and responds well to us. His recall is perfect and his manners are much improved as a consequence he is much calmer much happier dog and a lot less stressed. We anre also calmer, happier and less worried about him. Of course many of the problems we experienced related to our approach and Joe was skilful and tactful in helping us to recognise that too. So thank you Joe your work has been much appreciated

I am absolutely thrilled to share my incredibly positive experience with Joe at Mutts Manners! was scared I was going to have rehome my reactive dog. I Contacted Joe at the recommendation of a friend, and I am delightedthat I did! After just one hour my dog was walking on the lead perfectly. Within 2 weeks he was obeying commands instantly. I now have a happy and content family pet. Joe has continued to check in and support us throughout the entire process and is always available to give advice or reinforcement when we have the need to ask. I would not hesitate to recommend him!

Our experience with Joe at Mutts Manners has been life changing! We have a 3 year old Vizsla who was prone to aggression with strangers and other dogs with no apparent pattern or reason, we were never sure how she would react in any situation hugely stressful for us and the dog. Every walk was dreaded. She was also hugely protective of the household and would bark at any interaction at the front door. We also had issues with demand barking which drove us nuts. Having been to different trainers over the years, some techniques made a difference, others didnt we needed a solution that would stick. Before Luna went to Joe for residential training, he spent lots of time on the phone with me answering my questions and was confident he could help Luna. And he did ! Its been challenging for us humans sticking to the rules but the difference in Luna and our family life is unbelievable! The work continues but were finally at a place where we can enjoy our walks and Luna is a much more settled and content doggo ! Thanks Joe !

We were at a wits end before reaching out to Joe. Our cocker spaniel had been extremely aggressive with our other dog and any other dog he met. It got to a point where he turned on us. We had used a trainer previously which helped ever so slightly but the issues got worse afterwords. Henry pulled so much on the lead he could barely breathe, it was so unenjoyable taking him out. We eventually reached out to Joe after a night of Henry trying to attack both myself and partner. Joe was our last option and was recommended through a neighbour. Joe managed to fit us in for 2 weeks residential training. We then done 2 days of training at the end with Joe and Honore. I cannot explain the difference in Henry. When we went over to see him, he would walk beside us and not pull our arm out our socket. We learned how to have a healthy relationship with Henry and also how to work with his aggression. I cannot recommend Joe & Honore enough, if you have a difficult relationship with your dog in any way at all, please reach out to Joe. Thank you so much Joe & Honore. We are so grateful.
