I hate having my photo taken. Why? Because usually, I hate the results. It's like the camera literally scouts down my worst angles and presents that to me in as many ways as possible. That sends me into a spiral of self attack. Who wants that? But I need photos for my business and I want ones that LOOK LIKE ME on my best day. Tom knows how to make that happen. I've seen him do it with so many people, I know I'm in safe hands. So go see him. Time to get photos you are HAPPY to look at.

I was in need of a professional headshot for my website and various social media accounts and after spending a good amount of time researching online went to Tom at Alive Photos. I'm so happy that I did as Tom made me feel like I wasn't there for business but to visit someone I'd known for years. I'm sure rest I've most people I don't enjoy having my photo taken but Tom took the time to help me relax and actually enjoy myself. I can thoroughly recommend Alive Photos for anyone in the market for a headshot.

Tom did an amazing job of making my headshot photo session really fun and relaxed and the results speak for themselves - I never would have believed I'd actually love most of the shots he took. There was no time pressure and he made sure I was happy with the photos I was selecting. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I can't recommend Tom enough.

This was one of the best investments we've ever made. It seems now that everyone takes selfies and yet we all know that this isn't the truth, that they won't stand the test of time. If we're lucky they will be on a phone/laptop and in the passing of time they won't "mean" anything. Yet imagine a photograph, an experience, that is so personal, so intimate that just seeing it, connects you to that person again. In a way that evokes memories, a deep connection, a smile, and maybe even tears. One day we take our last breathe. Those around us do too. Yet for generations we hope we will be remembered. We now have a stunningly beautiful book that will become an important heirloom - that will travel through time in a way Human's can't, yet. Our grandchildren, and their children, and theirs, will know some of their Elders. We only wish that we'd met Tom sooner. We carry precious Ones in our hearts and we so wish we had their "special" photos too.
