I had used this firm before and hoped they would be just as good on the next job. However, they damaged our property on arrival (when reversing the van, the ladder on the roof went through our front wall), and also created another issue with a door opening. They promised to sort these, but a lot of time passed before anything was done. In the end we hired someone else to sort one of the problems. A poor quality repair was done to fix the damage caused to our home, and the work was done without our knowledge when we were not in, which is very unusual. At all times the approach seemed to be that the customer is wrong and their firm has nothing to do with causing issues. Won't use again, be careful, record everything they do if you hire them - just in case you need future evidence against their workmanship.

I was recommended Midlothian Roofing by a neighbour. My red pantile roof needs work every 3 years or so. Ive used half a dozen Roofers over the years and they have easily been by far the best:- * Upfront advice on options and what was possible and what the risks were etc * A professional quote with photos showing exactly what they were going to do in terms of repairs - therefore no dubiety * The team turned up on the day they were scheduled and worked all week on repairing mostly four long sections of hip tiles. This was quite tricky work bursting out pointing which they did without damaging the existing hip tiles * The guys on-site were polite / tidy / kept me up to date and checked I was happy with the work so far. They were also pragmatic about fixing the odd loose tile etc as they went along Overall, a fantastic experience led by Stuart, I could not recommend Midlothian Roofing enough! I am extremely happy with the outcome, its exactly what I was after! Service: Roof repair
