Ruby Rooms-Worst experience I've had. Staff are so rude. Cannot believe this type of poor customer service exists. Maybe the owner and staff should consider their customers and returning business before deciding to be unpleasant.

I wanted my nails done before my father's funeral at Ruby Rooms. It was an extremely difficult and emotional time. My regular nail tech was on holiday, so I booked one of the other girls. I knew exactly which colour of builder gel I wanted. She spent the first 5 minutes trying to convince me not to. She also had a slightly different interpretation of square nails than my usual nail tech. She filed them right down in the centre to take all the white off, and left them longer, square at the edges. I found it uncomfortable on the centre of my nails. The other issue was that she talked at me constantly. I'd explained I was going to my father's funeral, but she kept talking and talking at me. His death was quick and traumatic and I was struggling. It was really insignificant things - I didn't want to talk about my holidays, where I was spending Christmas, what my work day had been like. I tried dropping hints I didn't want to talk. I was holding back tears at one point. I just withdraw and tried not to interact with the girl as I just couldn't. The builder also wasn't thick enough at the edges and most of my nails have chipped and split over the next 2 weeks. When I tried to book with my regular nail tech when she was back from holiday, the owner of the salon messaged me to say they wouldn't be taking any further bookings from me. No one called to check my experience or point of view.
