My car went in for a service and MOT and needed work done further to a previous recall. They contacted the Head office to address the issue and took the pressure of my shoulders. I was thinking of getting a new car but after all the excellent work they have done I will be hanging onto it for a while longer as its driving as good as the day I bought it. Very helpful and professional team ! Could not fault the quality of work and service, also the girls that do the admin work are great and kept me in the loop throughout. 1st class service !

Had Kerr and Smith come out to recover my works van after the cold snap caused a breakdown. They were quick and efficient, arrived before the ETA. Considering the time of year and weather would have them snowed under with work they weee fast and reliable and I cant recommend them enough, cracking team!

On Sunday, 11th Sept we were driving from Dumfries to Peebles when our car broke down just outside Cumnock. Within 15 minutes of contacting our breakdown insurance company we were joined by a recovery vehicle from Kerr & Smith, driven by their mechanic, Simon. After determining that the vehicle could not be repaired then, or driven, he transported us and the vehicle to our nominated garage back home. The following day, my garage confirmed Simon's suspicion that a recently fitted wheel bearing had collapsed. We were delighted with Simon's assistance and the service provided by Kerr & Smith.
