Fantastic place to visit. They've recently done a lot of work improving the grounds and I've noticed increasing numbers of people visiting, which is good. The visitor centre has plenty of good info about the area, free flyers etc. They also sell books, including children's books, local jams, honey, soaps, candles as well as scarves, hats, toys and other bits and pieces. Staff are always happy to help. You will buy your tickets for the house and the walled garden here. The grounds are free to explore. Many paths are firm and should be ok for wheelchair users. Plenty of parking spaces.
