Fantastic experience with McKernan. Even during the first lockdown we were in regular communication; informing us of imminent work, revised deadlines, etc. We were provided with regular updates on the build and could feed into aspects of the overall design (such as the garden). Never left in the dark; the whole process was transparent - all concerns assuaged, even during what was a tumultuous period for the economy. The level of customisation afforded completely blows the competition out of the water - we had a plethora of choice for our kitchen and bathrooms. The house was ready on time - and the finish of, and within, the house was of the highest quality. Any snags were dealt with within a few days, and even almost a year later some minor fixes were made to our garden without request. Exceptional after-sales care. I'd happily buy again from McKernan

i was lucky enough to buy a house in Mount Vernon gardens before they sold out as for they beauty, style and price the are selling really quick, the thing that i liked the most was that i got to meet the bosses Peter and Matthew who allowed me to deal directly to them and never let m down with any od my demands, we now got the keys, the handover was easy and smooth ,the house is really big, in fact i chosed to buy from them because when i went to see other new built from other companies every room was super tiny and there was not a little style, now instead i have a huge bedroom and amazing living room and kitchen along with the great bathroom combination, garage and garden ,i can't thank Peter and Matthew enough for allowing me to be one of their clients

This is the real premium house builder, I spent months looking at new homes with all the main stream builders. I cannot even compare the quality in my new home to what Ive seen elsewhere. The finishing and craftsmanship put in to these houses are amazing. They look so much more modern than your 500-1000 house estates and the level of customer service is on next level. Ive described my experience to my friends and family as McKernan homes being an elite house builder. I am so over the moon that Ive had the chance to purchase one of these houses. I am a single adult at a fairly young age and most sales people believe it or not, disregarded me and treated me like I wasnt serious. I even had a comment from one Just go and look round the showhome, ill be here waiting... drinking coffee I met Peter the owner of the company when viewing the house and he made me feel at ease straight away. No judgement and he welcomed me with a warm reception. He showed me around the houses and told me everything I needed to know. The best part being he knew exactly how the houses were being built, he knew the structure, the foundations, the materials being used and assured me that the finish would be exactly what I viewed in the show home. My house was finished to perfection, the gods honest truth! I have 1 snag and its a bit of missing silicone on the corner of the bath. About 1 inch in length. (This was fixed within an hour of me taking keys) I am a very fussy individual but also very understanding if that makes sense. I understand what I want and do all to get it but I also understand other peoples pressures. They dealt with my wants and needs so so well. This is the real peoples person builder with an extremely personal touch, being able to meet the owner and have the personal telephone number for the site agent Matthew. Not once did matthew not phone me back, he returned every call as promptly as he could. Hes a true professional and I can understand why Peter the owner trusts Matthew to run the sites single handedly. With the size of the estate albeit smaller that the generic builders, I wondered how they would cope with the requests of others and mines at the same time. Let me reassure all who read this and are thinking of buying a Mckernan home... You are making a great decision to purchase one of these homes. You will be treated exactly how you deserve and the level of service will be exactly as required. Your finished home will bring a smile to your face as soon as you get the grand reveal and you will own one of the most modern and luxury homes there is in Scotland! A special Thank you to Matthew the site manger, you handled the pressure of all customer concerns so well but made me feel like I was still the most important. Thank you sir! Best of luck to Mckernan homes, you deserve all you desire with the hard work and commitment you are giving to ensure your clients are over the moon.
