DM Design - Cumbernauld Showroom

I would strongly advise against using DM Designs for any home renovation projects. They completely ruined my house and made a mess of everything. They ordered the wrong materials for the project, which led to delays and cost me more money in the end. And worst of all, they charged me for their mistakes! The workers they sent to my house were extremely unprofessional and careless. They left my house in a complete mess, with debris and construction materials strewn about everywhere. It took me weeks to clean up after them, and even then, I'm still finding bits of plaster and drywall in places they shouldn't be. They even left their empty lunch cartons all over my kitchen and left mess in the toilet! To make matters worse, DM Designs was completely unresponsive to my complaints. When I tried to contact them about the issues I was having, I was met with silence. It was clear that they didn't care about the quality of their work or the satisfaction of their customers. Overall, I would strongly advise against using DM Designs for any home renovation projects. They are unprofessional, careless, and will charge you for their mistakes. Do yourself a favour and find a more reputable contractor to work with. (Posted on behalf of family I was living with during their renovations)

Avoid at all costs! Disaster from start to finish, no communication, arranging work to be completed and then no one showing up. Ordering wrong parts then charging us to replace them. Do not use!

We had our kitchen and utility room remodelled and fitted by DM Design and we love it. From the first design visit, throughout the process of choosing finishes and appliances, through to delivery and installation, they were helpful, informative and approachable. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and I would certainly use them again.

Avoid this company at all costs! After 4 years the laminate detached from the doors and they blamed a faulty batch provided by an external contractor. They provided replacements but wanted to charge us for fitting - we did it ourselves as we werent willing to give them another penny. Unsurprisingly, the same thing happened with the replacements and we now have a kitchen held together with tape! After another complaint their best offer was trade price on replacement doors. Their pricing is all smoke and mirrors at the best of times so we didnt even ask for a cost and have taken our business elsewhere. Strongly suggest that others do the same. Your kitchen might look good but it probably wont last and you only have 5 years warranty.
