Very difficult to contact. I paid a lot of money (close to 500) for him to ' fix' my camera lens. It was returned with the same fault. The work sheet sent to me had wrong serial number on it. The only excuse he has was lock down got in the way. However, I have since contacted via email and received no response. I now have had to send it to another company.

DO NOT USE! Had my 1000 lens for a minor repair for four months, never replies to emails, didn't do the work and only after begging, demanding and borderline threats of legal action did I get it back. It's now unusable - zoom is jammed solid and its' wrecked. Find somebody else, I wish I'd seen the reviews on here before sending it to him, don't be fooled by the professional website AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I went to Edward because he claimed to be the only factory-trained Tamron Adaptall technician in Europe. I Saw the endorsement from Philip Bloom etc. and figured he's probably reputable. I sent him four of my lenses for refurbishment. An indulgent expense on my part, but I was willing to pay the price for the piece of mind of knowing my lenses were performing to the best of their ability. Here's the score. -110 emails trying to get him to finish and return my lenses. -Over $2000 paid to Edward. -Excuse after excuse for not getting the work done. -It's been over eight months. -All communication has stopped and I can't reach him. I have probably lost my lenses to a seemingly incompetent operator or possibly a nefarious cheat. But who knows, maybe He'll come through after all this time. I would not recommend any of the services from the lens doctor unless you like a hassle. -------UPDATE-------- I finally did receive my lenses from Edward (the lens Doctor). Only after getting PayPal to threaten to return the money I paid him. They came back in an awful unacceptable condition. See this youtube video of me looking at them for the first time. Just look up "Lens doctor review" on youtube to find it as I can't put links in this review. I asked PayPal not to pay him as he had clearly scammed me. But the only evidence they look at is whether or not the items were shipped and delivered, so the condition didn't matter. They don't guarantee quality. So I lost this one. The Lens Doctor is full of excuses and claims that he cant make a purse out of a sow's ear. But the lenses I gave him were almost perfect, to begin with. I just wanted to make sure they were top notch. And now they're covered with glue, dust, fingerprints and cleaning streaks inside the lenses, and weird lumps under the grips which I have discovered is a sloppy mess of tape and glue. Don't get taken as I did. Avoid this guy and spread the word. If he used to be good, that time is over...
