I went into the branch to open a credit card account , first of all I was told an outright lie that you have to do it on line when I challenged this he said its easier on line when I asked who is it easier for he said they were very busy I was the only one in the branch , I asked to speak to the manager who kept popping round the partition I was told that she would be right out, I finally gave up after 10 minutes , an absolute insult and disgusting experience

I had a trip from Glasgow to Preston to purchase a car had problems transferring payment they blocked payment went to local branch just before 3 pm manager would not help as closed at 3pm told need to come back next day had to go back home on train and make arrangements for another trip back dolen again the next day closing time at 3 pm a joke will be changing to another bank

Seven and a half years without a bank statement, had money going out my bank I didn't know about but would of if santander hadn't just stopped sending me statements, no reason why,asked them umpteen times to reinstate the statements, absolutely nothing, shocking to say the least.

Shocking experience with a woman wearing red and sitting down at the computer today. Came across very patronising, never listened and kept jumping over me saying "let me speak," she was horrible. The issue was I made a card payment online to scottish power and they took 2 payments. Never blamed santander at all but then she started saying ot our fault and that we advise people to pay direct debit. I said about 4 times I'm not paying direct debit I pay what I owe. And she told me there's nothing I they could do and to take my bank card back. Also said that if bank of scotland could be more assistance I should go there in her own way. She was a word that has 4 letters starting with c. Not nice told her to get a breakfast. Honestly what an experience
