Carrie-Anne made our wedding cake last week and it was absolutely scrumptious! All our guests were raving about how lovely it looked and tasted. Carrie- Anne made it exactly to my wishes and it was perfect! I highly recommend!!

Carrie-Anne made our wedding cake and it was perfect!! Every little detail I asked for was included, down to the bandage on Connors hand and the green, white & yellow cake layers inside! I have had 5 cakes from Carrie-Anne for various occasions and they have all been excellent! Highly recommend!!

I've had two big cakes from Carrie-Anne so far - my beautiful geode wedding cake and a stunning snowdrop birthday cake for my mum's birthday. Carrie-Anne has such an amazing skill for creating the most perfect cakes in both looks and taste! She also created a batch of cupcakes for my wedding guest who has a lot of allergies and my guest said they were really tasty. Any time i need a special cake I will always go to Carrie-Anne!

On the 25th August My daughter ordered a birthday cake for my Granddaughters 16th Birthday on the 2oth September. Sent 2 pictures of what she wanted the cake to look like and asked for it to be personalised with Happy 16th Birthday Adele not too much to ask. She was assured that the design she requested would not be a problem so paid her a deposit. We were supposed to pick up the cake on the evening of the 19 September at 7pm but decided instead we would pick it up on the day of the Birthday. MY husband went to collect the cake around 11am and it wasn't ready he had to wait 10mins . OMG the cake was a shambles not even finished decorated, and not personalised at all 65 my daughter was in tears. I had to go to Hobbycraft to get a cake topper and a number 16 to personalise it a little bit .When my daughter messaged her she admitted that she had not had time to finish the cake as she had taken on too much THAT WEEKEND and that my husband had come round too soon Well considering we were meant to pick it up the night before he was actually 16 hours late .The only good point was and there actually was one is it tasted quite nice but tbh I have had better My Advice AVOID

Amazing cake and amazing service! On the 18th of Sept, my (now) wife and I got married. In the middle of very uncertain times, organising a wedding was a lot of stress. Carrie-Anne was incredibly positive throughout, being very understanding of the situation, with our request changing due to changing government guidelines. She was also very helpful, answering the numerous questions we asked her. We ended up with a beautiful two-tier wedding cake, hand-painted with thistles and bees. Additionally we ordered some very cute cupcakes for people nearby who couldn't make it to the wedding. Both tiers of the cake and the cupcakes were incredibly tasty. We ordered two flavours, one being chocolate and the other being lemon. Everybody loved them, and couldn't believe it was vegan too. Our vegan friend was especially happy as she normally doesn't get to enjoy cakes at events! Several people commented that they couldn't tell the cakes were vegan, and a few said they were better than non-vegan alternatives! The whole thing was also at a great price, we couldn't believe it! The cherry on top was that on short notice, she managed to sort out a delivery to us at our venue an hour away. Making our special day that little bit less stressful. We would recommend Cakes by Carrie-Anne for any special occasion and just generally loved the positivity that came along with the cake, as well as the joy of supporting a small business owner who is incredibly passionate in what they do!
