Great experience renting from this location - super fast and friendly service, great upgrade as a preferred/loyalty program member and no fuss returns. Would definitely rent here again.

Extremely slow service with one staff member only and a very long queue. Will try to avoid in future. Why treat customers this way?

Avoid this firm!!! If I could give zero star I would (and so far I have only given 5 stars on Google, so this is really bad). We rented a car over the weekend and 2 hours away from Inverness (in a rugged area), the car broke down (potentially an oil leakage in the engine-it was black oil all over the front of the car). We were initially told by AA a car would pick us up within an hour, then it was delayed to 3.5 h (and were still waiting). Avis did not answer their phone despite numerous tries from both us and AA (even though they were supposed to be open). Avis might be a good world wide firm-but please do not hire a car with Avis in Scotland! If something happens-you will be stranded with no help from Avis! Now were just hoping AA will come before it gets too dark and cold!
