The Thermaflow boiler is a big system which pumps out excellent heat and hot water. It's one of the very few boilers on the market which works from solar energy , a major plus in our need to combat climate change. Moreover, the technical back-up offered by the company is second to none: swift response, clear instruction and steady and patient support which makes the maintenance service so much easier than is generally the case in this unhelpful age of recorded messages and on-line virtual 'chat'. My only real gripe with this system is the Utility supplier, Scottish Power, who supply a 3 reading meter which switched between off peak and on peak rates at different times during the day. In 5 years of use the tariffs have increased and their customer service is poor. In Scotland we are tied to Scottish power. I would change this if I could. I consider myself fortunate that my modern 4 apartment bungalow is well built and insulated. This means the bills whilst not cheap are not overly expensive. It does help if you understand how to use the Thermaflow system to best effect as it will save you money. Take advice on this from the vendor. Take a service contract ( I do have some knowledge but prefer the specialist advice and help) in this regard Neatheat are excellent. I have heard that the Scottish Power meters may change and be forced to a single tariff meter, this may mean increased costs depending on the tariff they offer. It also means we can shop around.

Weve had a thermaflow boiler for 8 years.Serviced every year by Neatheat, it works well.Best of all,it links to solar panels which provide free heat for three showers a day in the summer. It costs about1000 a year to run

We have had the Thermaflow system for over 10 years now. Teething problems at the start were quickly fixed by the Thermaflow Engineer and it has been trouble free ever since. Running costs are reasonable and the hot water supply is plentiful. No complaints.
