Crosshouse Area Centre

I called Doctors earlier today, was told she would get Dr to call me back, I am still waiting and surgery is now closed. Will be a visit to A and E if I get worse. Eventually saw Nurse Practitioner next day, she wouldn't give me antibiotics for a uti, and recommended drinking lots of lemon water. Well it hasnt worked, so going back today, this is getting ridiculous, in so much pain.

I thought I should leave a review when I saw some negative reviews other people left that are the opposite from my personal experience which is usually pretty positive. I dont go to the GP practice very often but when I do the GP and practice nurse are attentive and certainly do what they can to find out whats wrong & advise me health wise. I joined this surgery 12 years ago and its so much easier to get appointments than in my last practice although they do ask why I need the appointment and Im sure if It wasnt important Id have to wait longer which would be understandable. Im always pleasantly surprised at how soon Ive got appointments.

Phoned thursday as I am waiting for prescription. Pharmacist hasn't called back 5 days later. Typical of service, would go elsewhere if I could. Receptionists not very pleasant either and nothings private, have to speak at there desk.

If I could give this practice 0 stars I would. The worst receptionists, incredibly unhelpful and I haven't even visited an actual doctor. Not even worth actually attending this practice.

Worst doctor surgery ever since moved....had wrong postcode hence nhs scotland couldn't locate vaccine status been ongoing for 2 wk
