        Cromarty beach is a peaceful spot that looks out across the Cromarty Firth towards the massive Port of Nigg. Despite the industrial backdrop, it's a very tranquil area, with a few dog walkers and a few people on the numerous benches beside it. We spent half an hour or so, just enjoying to view.

        Lucky to have two weeks of really good weather except for one dreich day. A lovely place strangely enhanced by oil rig and windfarm structures on the opposite shore. Hotel cafe and takeaway all provided good quality and service. Good place to unwind
